Open House at the Medicine Campus Davos
What began as a vision more than ten years ago has evolved into a unique ecosystem for rehabilitation, research, education, and innovation. During the open house at the Medicine Campus Davos, it became strikingly clear how different areas of expertise on the campus complement and reinforce one another.
As the architecture office responsible for the master planning and the completed buildings, it gives us great pleasure to have been able to help shape the development of the Medicine Campus Davos from the very beginning. Our partner Jan Gloeckner, who has been involved with the Medicine Campus Davos since its inception, explained the site’s development as well as the urban planning and architectural considerations to guests.
Institutions such as the Hochgebirgsklinik Davos, Cardio-CARE AG, CK-CARE AG, Davos BioSciences AG, the Swiss Institute for Allergy and Asthma Research (SIAF), and Translational Medicine at Interfaces (TMG) are carrying out recognized work on the campus. By expanding its scope of activity, the Medicine Campus Davos will in the future promote even greater collaboration with startups and spin-offs and foster innovation.
Many thanks to everyone involved for the fascinating insights and the inspiring exchange.
