Final Construction Work on Research II
Construction work on the Research II building on the Medicine Campus Davos, the international centre of excellence for research, treatment and education in the fields of allergy, asthma and cardiology, is nearing completion.
The installation of the aluminium façade grid and the painting work have largely been completed. The natural stone and landscaping work is still outstanding.
Inside, the floor coverings have been partially laid and the installation of the laboratory furniture is progressing rapidly. The building services for heating and plumbing have been fully installed.
Work on the flat roof has been completed and the substructure for the PV system is ready. The PV modules will be installed shortly.
The official opening is planned for October. From then on, Cardio-CARE, CK-CARE and Davos BioSciences, as well as other players settling on the site, will have even more space available for their research activities.
