Experience a Piece of Urban History in Transition
Our entire team visited the House Uto construction site and toured the building, which houses the former Uto cinema, well known throughout the city, and the apartments above it. It is a place with a history that is transformed step by step into the future.
Tonja Kuhn and Fabio Gieriet from our team, who have been part of the project from very beginning, guided us through the various interventions. On site, we could see how their plans for the refurbishment of the existing building and the addition of extra storeys were being implemented.
The view of the building’s architectural history made it clear how much expertise and sensitivity are required when dealing with a listed building. Behind every intervention is a clear decision that respects the character of the building while meeting current requirements.
Experiences, successes and challenges were openly shared and discussed. This exchange has enriched our team with valuable insights for future projects.
