How can an urban wasteland be transformed into an urban center for everyone? The new publication “Die Säulenhalle” (The Columned Hall) shows how a 700-meter-long, covered public space can be created under the Hardbrücke in Zurich West—a vision supported by 13 concrete measures. Where traffic and parking spaces dominate today, new squares, businesses, culture, and meeting places will be created in the future.

„Die Säulenhalle” was developed by the working group of the same name, in which we were involved as an architecture firm together with an interdisciplinary team of experts.
