House Koya at Arc After-Work Event

This week, Swiss Arc’s Arc Afterwork Event in Basel focused on the exciting question: ‘How can architecture counteract the ever-increasing demand for living space and create new qualities of living in smaller areas?’

Raf Dauwe from our team took part in this series of lectures and we had the opportunity to present our apartment house Koya project in Andermatt. It was fascinating to see how differently the various architectural firms invited to speak approached the topic. Limited space encourages creative concepts that redefine quality of life.

The Koya apartment building showed how ceiling heights, views and interior design tailored to the architecture can create a feeling of spaciousness in the mezzanine apartments, even in a compact space.

Thank you to Swiss Arc and the other participants for the open exchange and the strong impulses.
