In cooperation with the branding agency JvM/brand identity, OOS advised SOCAR, an energy services provider entering the Swiss market, throughout the conceptual phase and drew up a design strategy for the premium brand. With filling stations representing SOCAR's only physical touch point with its customers, 3D branding was an important component of the company's new brand strategy in Switzerland.

At interdisciplinary workshops, the company's positioning and market entry strategy were analyzed, refined and converted into a spatial concept. 3D branding was developed for a "Flagship Station" with an adjacent shop and adapted for use at 170 filling stations. Aside from the development of a new logo and a corporate identity concept, distinctive brand-based characteristics were identified and the atmosphere of the interior and exterior space defined.
After taking over Esso Switzerland in 2012, SOCAR, an Azerbaijan energy group, established a new subsidiary, SOCAR Energy Switzerland.
