Once an industrial quarter, then on the way to becoming a trendy quarter, and today? Two more office blocks are to be built on the Welti-Furrer site in Zurich West. As part of the working group “Blühende Pfingtweide” (Whitsun willow in bloom) and with the support of the Hamasil Stiftung, we are campaigning for a lively, green residential and working quarter. The result is a counter-proposal to the planned overbuilding.

How can existing structures be preserved and a lively piece of the city be created? Ideas for various conversions, a high-rise residential building and a green urban landscape show the way and were published in the Hochparterre issue of the same name.
